Description
“My Love Letter to Las Vegas 003” is an original oil and gold leaf on canvas painting by contemporary artist Sergei Moskalev. Measuring 50×65 cm | 20×26 in, this piece is part of the celebrated My Love Letter to Las Vegas collection — a deeply personal artistic tribute to light, spectacle, and electric energy.
“The Strip at night feels like a world made entirely of light. From this view, everything sparkles. The buildings, the streets, even the air itself seem to shimmer. The Eiffel Tower rises among it all, both familiar and reimagined, glowing within the rhythm of the city. In this painting, I wanted to capture that sense of wonder, where every surface reflects energy and the night becomes something radiant, alive, and endlessly captivating.” — Sergei Moskalev
Sergei Moskalev’s work is distinguished by his masterful use of light, color, and texture. Trained at the prestigious Penza Art College in Russia and a member of the UNESCO International Federation of Artists, Moskalev brings decades of classical training to his contemporary vision. His Las Vegas series captures the Strip, neon signs, the Venetian, and iconic casino architecture with an emotional depth that transforms familiar scenes into deeply personal experiences.
Enhanced with gold leaf, the painting gains an additional dimension — a warm, luminous glow that shifts with the light, creating an almost living quality that photographs cannot fully capture.
